Course Objective:
The aim of this course is to recognize and prevent cardiac arrest, understand
the concept of cardiac arrest and the importance of the time component, early
recognition of the emergency and activation of the emergency medical services.

- Adult and Infant chain of survival in cardiac arrest
- Adult and Infant BLS Sequence
- Adult and Infant CPR
- Foreign body airway Obstruction (Choking)
- Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

All health care professionals such as Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, Physiotherapist,
Lab Technicians and Radiographers.
Course outcome:
Upon successful completion of this course, candidates will be able to recognize
and prevent cardiac arrest, understand the concept of cardiac arrest and the
importance of the time component, early recognition of the emergency and
activation of the emergency medical services (EMS) and issued with an AHA
Health care provider’s course completion card which is valid for 2 years.
